🌿 Fresh from our garden to our kitchen! 🌿

Today, our Culinary Arts class harvested fresh basil from their garden and used it to top their delicious BBQ Chicken Pizzas! 🍕🌿

After preparing all the ingredients, our participants learned how to properly clean, dry, and cut the fresh basil using herb scissors before adding it to their pizzas. 👩‍🍳

A fun day filled with teamwork, cooking, learning, and practicing important life skills! 💚

We love watching our participants grow, learn, and enjoy the vegetables and herbs they help grow in their garden! 🌱🥕

🌱🥕 From Seed to Table! 🌿🍅

Our Culinary Arts program has been busy growing something special! 🌼 From planting seeds and learning about the life cycle of plants to caring for our very own vegetable and herb garden, our participants are experiencing firsthand where fresh food comes from.

Our garden is filled with peppers, basil, green onions, flowers, and more, giving everyone the opportunity to learn gardening skills, responsibility, teamwork, and healthy eating-all while having fun!

We can’t wait to harvest our fresh ingredients and incorporate them into delicious recipes in our Culinary Arts classes. There’s nothing more rewarding than enjoying food you’ve grown yourself! 🌱👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
