Today was our first ever meeting of the Urgench State University Codding Club - with university tech students training local middle and high school students using Edison robots - amazing kickoff session sponsored Fulbright Global Teacher Grant and US Embassy English Language programs.

Fun making signs with some 3rd and 4th graders in the Creation Studio after school Friday - Glowforge and cricut are such great tools!

Seeing some great coding and engineering as we learn makecode.org's EV3 platform for our new NASA Artemis challenge - If you are a lego league vet you probably recognize a few of our old challenges from year's past!

5th and 6th graders learn some basic woodworking using drills, saws & sanders to create a cedar "something" holder. Then they add a Cricut vinyl sticker or some posca art - makes a fun project & my room smells like cedar for a couple weeks :-)

A master carpenter in the making - wrapping up a grad challenge project improving on a garden box with hinges and new tops. Love the final double power drill pose - great look :-)

Our WCS librarian had a great idea this week - turning some discard book covers into a new Library sign by lasercutting with our Glowforge. Love how these came out - and definitely going to be collecting other discards for some more making!
