Happy Monday! We are just two days away from the first day of school in the Mohawk Trail and Hawlemont Regional School Districts. Teachers and staff are in-house today making final preparations.

Our district Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) group will be tabling and hosting activities at the Shelburne Grange Fair on Saturday, August 29th. At 1 p.m. Julie Talbot will read stories aloud and offer craft activities for young children.

The Greenfield Summer Eats Program kicks off tomorrow, June 24 from 4pm to 6 pm at the Green River Swim Area. This is a great time to get involved in the sustainability study and the work of the project's steering committee. Tomorrow evening is the next meeting, and the agenda lists a review of the project, updates and forward-looking items. Participants may join virtually or in-person at Mohawk Trail Regional School. We'd appreciate having you join the conversation!

The 2districts8towns steering committee meets this Thursday, June 18, 5:30 pm to discuss the latest developments and next steps in exploring combined school districts. All are welcome to attend either in person or remotely.
