Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School

Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School BSE is the largest public elementary school within the Mohawk Trail Regional School District, comprised of approximately 285 students, PreK - 6th grade.

BSE's mission is to support students in reaching their full potential within the greater community. This page is maintained by the Mohawk Trail Regional School District (MTRSD) for the purpose of celebrating student, staff, and school successes and highlights; and sharing news and information about our schools with families and the community. This page is a limited/designated public forum

Happy Monday! We are just two days away from the first day of school in the Mohawk Trail and Hawlemont Regional School Districts. Teachers and staff are in-house today making final preparations.

Our district Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) group will be tabling and hosting activities at the Shelburne Grange Fair on Saturday, August 29th. At 1 p.m. Julie Talbot will read stories aloud and offer craft activities for young children.

This is a great time to get involved in the sustainability study and the work of the project's steering committee. Tomorrow evening is the next meeting, and the agenda lists a review of the project, updates and forward-looking items. Participants may join virtually or in-person at Mohawk Trail Regional School. We'd appreciate having you join the conversation!

The 2districts8towns steering committee meets this Thursday, June 18, 5:30 pm to discuss the latest developments and next steps in exploring combined school districts. All are welcome to attend either in person or remotely.
