Do you have a child who will be starting kindergarten in the Warren County School District next week? If you haven't already done so, now is the time to register!

Registering your child as soon as possible helps us prepare classrooms, staffing, transportation, and support services to ensure a successful start to the school year.

🚘 🚙 Drop-Off and Pick-Up Routines

MORNING DROP-OFF 🚘 🚙

Student drop-off is between 7:30 AM and 7:55 AM.

• Please pull into the SAEMS driveway and continue all the way to the back parking lot, closest to the football field.
• Follow the traffic pattern around to the front entrance to drop off your child.
• Please remain in your vehicle while your child exits from the passenger side. This helps ensure the safety of all students and keeps traffic moving smoothly during peak drop-off times.
• A member of the SAEMS team will be at the door to greet your child.
• Please remember to keep the fire lane clear at all times. Vehicles should not be parked or waiting in the fire lane.
• If you need to es**rt your child to the door—for example, to drop off prescription medication or speak with a staff member—please park in the back parking lot and walk your child to the door.

AFTERNOON PICK-UP

Elementary student pick-up is at 3:05 PM.

• ‼️The student pick-up process has changed this year.‼️
• Parents should drive up to the designated pick-up doors and remain inside their vehicles until dismissal.
• Students will be dismissed from the building and come to their vehicles.
• Students should enter through the passenger side of the vehicle.
• Please exit the parking lot using the lower portion of the SAEMS parking lot to help avoid bus traffic.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PICK-UP

Middle school students may be picked up from the lower parking lot at 3:15 PM.

As summer winds down, now is the perfect time to help children ease back into school routines! 📚⏰
Starting small adjustments before the first day of school can help students feel more rested, focused, and prepared for a successful transition back to the classroom.
A few helpful ways to get back on track:
🌙 Gradually move bedtime earlier each night
😴 Re-establish consistent sleep and wake-up routines
📵 Limit screen time before bed to support better sleep
🥞 Practice school-day morning routines, including breakfast and getting ready on time
🎒 Begin organizing school supplies, backpacks, and schedules
📚 Set aside quiet time each day for reading or learning activities
Getting back into a routine takes time, but small changes now can make those first weeks of school smoother and less stressful for the whole family!

Turn family game night into a math learning experience with games that reinforce key skills in a fun and engaging way!
Game Ideas:
• 🃏 WAR – A simple card game that builds number sense! Players compare two cards to determine which is greater than, less than, or equal to. Try a twist: each player flips two cards and adds or multiplies them before comparing!
• 🎲 Yahtzee – Strengthen addition skills as players roll dice and add up their totals. This game also introduces probability and strategic thinking as players decide where to place their scores.
• 🛝 Board Games (Candy Land, Chutes & Ladders, etc.) – These classic games build one-to-one correspondence, skip counting, and number recognition. Try counting spaces aloud or predicting how many moves are needed to reach the goal!
🎤 Make It More Fun:
• Math Challenge Mode – Before taking a turn, players solve a math problem to earn a roll or move!
• Custom Game Cards – Add your own math questions or challenges to any board game.
