Summer has flown by! This week has been about Celebration of a great summer and Safety for the start of a great school year!
Wednesday we celebrated with our 2nd annual Foam Dance Party 🫧🫧
This morning we had a visit from Ms Carol and the bus. 🚌 Our new and returning school friends were excited to hop on the bus. (Even our non-school friends got to check out the bus.) Thank you to the school for helping make this possible. It was a great opportunity to run through our process of waiting for the bus in the morning and how to stay safe on the way to school.

We beat the afternoon heat and spent the morning visiting our friends at Deerfield Assisted Living for some water play💦, bubbles 🫧and fun in the ☀️. Even our Little Sprouts enjoyed some water fun at the center. 💦☀️

Last week our Rancher friends made a visit to Deerfield for some reading and coloring time. 📚🖍️

This past week we celebrated Teacher Appreciation week! We had a fun “glow” week appreciating our teachers with a new surprise each day! Thank you to our families who donated, or sponsored a day! We ended our week with a fun GLOW PARTY!

Please help me Welcome the new smiling face that you will see at our front desk, Assistant Director, Whitnee Smit. We are happy to have her, and her family be a part of our Bin Town family! 💚

Hi everyone! My name is Whitnee Smit. I am thrilled to share that I have accepted a new position as the Assistant Director of Colts Corner Bin Town! This opportunity means so much to me, and I can't wait to grow, lead, and continue doing what I love – making a difference in the lives of children and families every single day. A little about me – I graduated high school at West Fork in 2012. I live outside of Thornton on an acreage with my husband Ryan, our sweet daughter River, and our spunky dog Bailey. I have always had a true passion for helping others, and after becoming a mother, I have felt a desire to help with children. Daycare was a great memory for me when I was a little girl, and I hope to help as many children as I can feel the same way while at Bin Town! I am looking forward to this opportunity to help children feel at home while attending Bin Town, and I am excited to get to know each family and serve the Sheffield community.
