❤️✏️ Kindergarten Signing Day 2026 ✏️❤️

Today was a BIG day at FELC as our incoming kindergarteners not only completed their readiness screening with our teachers, but also celebrated their commitment to begin their education as cardinals this fall. 😍

Preschoolers and Kindergarteners are officially on summer break! 😎 It has been a wonderful school year. We look forward to seeing many friendly faces return in August and we wish our big first graders an amazing transition to Knollwood!

Please note: Mrs. Glass and Mrs. Szczepanski will be available over the next few weeks and the main office will be closed June 19-August 3.

Have a safe, FUN summer little cardinals! We are so proud of you! ☀️😎🌴

What a full circle moment today as we welcomed our seniors back to Forestlawn for one last walk through the halls! 🤩 There were claps, cheers, smiles, laughter, and even tears. What a special moment… for our teachers who had them so many years ago, staff parents to see their graduate children, and our littlest cardinals catching a glimpse into their futures. 🥺 Congratulations Class of 2026! ❤️

Our kindergarteners did such a wonderful job this evening! 🤩❤️🥰 Thank you, Miss Vandenberg, for such an incredible show and to all of the amazing teachers, support staff, and families for your support this evening and all year. These little cardinals are ready for 1st grade! 🥺

Our staff is staying hydrated and caffeinated today thanks to parent donations, PTO, and the amazing baristas of Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck! Thank you SO much to the many parents who helped stock our snack cart for Staff Appreciation Week! Mrs. Szczepanski had so much fun delivering “Room Service” today to our amazing staff members to keep them fueled as they poured into our kids! 🤩❤️

That’s a wrap on Read Across America week! We had so much fun with the Kindness theme, guest readers, daily activities, a visit from Stomper to kick off the Crushers Reading Program incentive, and sharing the joy of reading together! 📚❤️

What better way for our preschoolers to celebrate Read Across America Week than with an Alphabet Fashion Show! 🤩 We loved seeing them proudly wear their letter vests and showcase their alphabet knowledge (and cuteness 🥹🥰)

Mrs. Carollo, the club advisor, and a few brave students shared about the purpose, activities, and impact of Kindness Club. 🤩❤️ Thank you, Mrs. Carollo, for all you do to support our students through this mission!
