Étude Schools Étude High School is a 9-12 public charter school that applies hands-on project-based learning — empowering students to think critically and engage creatively.

Étude Schools is a set of K-12 Public Charter Schools in the Sheboygan Area School District dedicated to transforming the educational experience by fostering a culture of inquiry, creativity, and accountability within our halls. We already have a week of the school year under our belts! Our middle schoolers kicked off their first day the right way:

Students headed to Kiwanis for team-building challenges with their advisories. It's not just a fun outing, it's how we start building the collaboration and communication skills that carry students through the whole year.

Back at school, they also previewed all of our seminar options before signing up for their choice. This semester's lineup: Dance (African Hip Hop), Drama (Video Production), Art (Drawing Materials), and Music (Strings and Things).

Two very different activities, same goal: giving students a real say in their year and a strong foundation to build on. Here's to a great year ahead!

At Étude, we believe education should be transformative, not just preparing students for tests, but preparing them for life. We do school differently, on purpose.

Learning here is active, reflective, and deeply connected to the real world. From elementary through high school, our students don't just receive information. They build it, question it, and share it. At Étude, we believe education should be meaningful, personal, and rooted in real-world experiences. Our schools are built around student-centered learning, where curiosity leads the way and every child is seen as a capable, creative thinker.

Through project-based, arts-integrated, and experiential learning, students develop critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills that prepare them not just for school, but for life.

At Étude, we believe that learning is a journey of growth, curiosity, and hard work.

This year, we were incredibly proud to celebrate ten of our 8th-grade students who were recognized with Presidential Awards for their dedication to education throughout middle school.

The Gold Award for Academic Excellence recognizes students who maintained a strong grade average throughout all of middle school while excelling in reading or math. Congratulations to Liam Bremser, Cole Mavity-Maddalena, Ogden Schroeder, and Tesla VanPrice! 🌟

The Silver Award for Academic Achievement honors students who have shown outstanding commitment—whether through consistent grades, excelling in a specific subject, or demonstrating tremendous academic growth from 6th to 8th grade. We are so proud of Tobi Becker, Colton Cook, Selenah Davidson, Naelly Martinez, Laura Paladinez, and Araya Schultz! 🎓

These awards reflect more than just scores; they represent the self-discipline, resilience, and daily effort these students have brought to their learning. We are so proud of you and can't wait to see all that you accomplish in high school!

Our youngest learners wrapped up the school year with a Fairytale Exhibition of Learning!

At Étude, Exhibitions of Learning are a special milestone where students make their hard work visible and share what they’ve discovered with our community. For this unit, our kindergarteners didn't just read stories—they explored characters and plots, built their own narratives, and brought their imaginations to life.

We are so proud of the creativity and curiosity these students showed. Thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate their growth and storytelling!
