If you are flying soon, consider these friendly tips:
🛫Pack light: Understand what you need in your carry-on as you have little space.
🛫Water Bottles: You can bring an empty water bottle through TSA and there are multiple bubblers (water fountains) around the terminals that you can fill it up with!
🛫Be comfortable: We all want to be all dressed up for the destination, however you have a long flight with people surrounding you in a tight space. No one will judge you for wearing a sweater and joggers.
🛫Use the bathroom before take off: There are bathrooms on the plane but sometimes they are always full OR you are stuck in the window and have to crawl through people.
🛫Invest in that neck pillow: It may sound stupid and look weird but it brings so much comfort to you and your neck will definitely thank you later!

Always travel for the unexpected. Pack extra clothes, give yourself extra travel time to get to place, and most importantly: pack extra patience because you aren't the only one traveling!

Be cautious while driving especially with the weather lately! Everyone rather see you an hour late because you took your time instead of seeing you in the hospital because you wanted to be at the destination faster.

If you are driving for your way of travel, think of
Time: Plan for backups
Others: Be cautious of those around you
Weather: Check the weather for the travel time to make sure you have a safe travel
Fun: Always make sure to have fun!

Did you know there are four different types of blood donations? Whole blood, power red, platelet, and plasma.
Whole blood is the most common donation that you will see. It takes all your blood and uses for trauma patients or for surgeries. These types of donations take up to an hour and accepts all blood types. You can donate up to 6 times a year or every 56 days.
Power Red donation is the type of donation that only takes the red blood cells out of your donation. You are hooked up to a machine that takes a pint of blood and separates your red blood cells from your plasma and platelets. The plasma and platelets are returned back to your body after your donation is completed. This process takes up to an hour and half of your time and the ideal blood type is O positive and negative and A / B negative.
Platelet donation is the same process as power red donation except it takes your platelet and some plasma and returns the remainder of plasma and your red blood. This takes a bit longer, about three hours to donate. You can donate up to 24 times a year with platelet and the ideal blood type would be A positive and negative, B positive, O positive, and AB positive and negative.
Plasma donation is the same process as platelet and power red donations except your plasma is what is used and your platelets and red blood cells are returned to your body. This process takes about an hour and half of your time and the ideal blood type is AB positive and negative. You can donate up to 13 times a year.
