White Memorial United Methodist Church offers a combined preschool program for three and four-year old children. The preschool is a non-profit organization and an outreach of the church to the surrounding communities. The program at White Memorial is designed to give your child an opportunity to develop self-confidence and social skills as they are exposed to a variety of school readiness activities. We strive to provide an environment that will stimulate and promote the total growth and well being of each child.

We are excited to announce…. 📣

Preschool enrollment is officially open for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! With a majority of our students graduating, we have spots open! At White Memorial, we offer a part time 3 and 4 year old program for children ages 3-5 years old. Operating Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 8:45-11:45am, September-May. Tuition is $125.00 a month with a $40.00 registration fee.

Our daily schedule consists of morning work, free play, and rug time before we break into separate groups for snacks and individual classwork, ending most preschool days outside on our playground! If you have a preschool age child, (must be potty trained) and would like to introduce them to a fun, loving and structured environment they can learn and grow in, Contact us today!

Snow days arent nearly as fun when it’s too cold to go outside and play. We hope all of our preschool families are cozy and warm as we wait for the ice to melt. Unfortunately this means Preschool will be closed Wednesday, January 28th. We have our fingers crossed we will see everyone on Friday!

With super low temperatures keeping the kids cooped up, what better way to get those Winter Wiggles out than a Friday Evening with our EMES family! Tickets will be available for purchase through PayPal.

With the potential of snow we are keeping our eyes on the weather forecast.

A few reminders:
We follow the MCPS closure schedule. In the case of school closure we will update our page. Often times MCPS will issue a 2 hour delay for flexibility and then make the final call before 6am the following school day. We will notify parents as soon as a final decision is made. In the case of an actual 2 hour delay student drop off will begin at 9:00am, and we operate on a normal schedule for 1 hour delays. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Preschool Families, we hope everyone has had a wonderful Fall Break!

Unfortunately, due to a viral case of the stomach flu within our staff, we will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday the 20th. By closing, we hope to prevent further spread and everyone can return happy and heathy on Wednesday!
