Legacy Parenting Center Empowering Parents. Impacting Generations. Diapers, wipes, and formula are included with every appointment. Give us a call to schedule a curbside pick up.

Legacy Parenting Center is a privately funded 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt nonprofit providing parent education and resources at no cost to our clients. Our clients participate in free individualized, parenting classes with the nationally known Earn While You Learn video curriculum. We also offer playroom appointments with our Parent Educator, as well as several group classes throughout the year

including: Infant Massage, Safe Sleep, CPR, Breastfeeding, Toddler Stay & Play, Toddler Storytime, and more. Clients earn points with each lesson, which are used in The Legacy Store for items including clothing, car seats, toys, supplies and more. Through our Emergency Assistance Program, families can receive diapers, wipes and formula up to four times per year without enrolling in our EWYL program.

2026 PFF Grantee Spotlight ✨

Legacy Parenting Center (Shawnee) will use its grant to support its Wonder Years program and playroom. Established in 2024, Wonder Years serves children aged three to five and their caregivers through twice-monthly, parent educator-led group sessions. Wonder Years sessions include circle time, guided transitions, sensory play, and activities that build fine and gross motor skills. During Wonder Years, parents remain in the room, learning how to reinforce these skills at home and gaining a deeper understanding of early childhood development. 🧸🪀

The playroom space is central to both Wonder Years and Legacy’s broader programming. In 2025, the playroom supported nearly 400 educational sessions, serving as a space for structured classes as well as individualized appointments. It is used for EWYL sessions, Wonder Years groups, and other parent-child interactions, including developmental support, sensory play, and skill-building activities tailored to each family’s needs.

Tomorrow is National Nonprofit Day, and we're kicking off three days of celebrating what happens when a community chooses to invest in hope.✨

At Legacy, hope looks like a baby going home with clean, dry diapers. It looks like a new parent growing in confidence and a family finding the resources, education and support they need to know they’re not alone.

And you can help make that possible for just $10 a month.

Hope Club is our monthly giving program, and a $10 monthly gift provides approximately two weeks' worth of diapers for a baby.👶🏽

We sure love our partnerships. We’re stronger when we come together for the good of our community.

Through a partnership with the Shawnee location of Community Health Centers of Oklahoma – Healthy Start, we were able to donate:

50 boxes of size 7 Huggies
30 boxes of size 5 Huggies
20 winter hats
20 onesies
20 bibs
20 pairs of socks
20 bottles
20 blankets

A special shoutout to our Ambassador Program with Shawnee Forward, Inc. The Before the Business breakfast connected us with this incredible center and helped us discover a need we could meet together.

When we share resources, make connections, and look for ways to support one another, we can create a greater impact for families in our community. 💚
