Good news‼️ Diaper Need Awareness Week donations are starting to arrive at the center. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’re at 88% of our goal‼️ 52,000 diapers and counting‼️🎉

Mayor Stephens joined us to celebrate on behalf of City of Shawnee, OK Government and presented an official proclamation to show their support‼️

With more than 120 locations collecting diapers in September, our Operations Team and incredible volunteers are staying busy prepping the diapers for Legacy babies‼️🎉

A BIG thank you to the Shawnee Rotary Club for spending part of last week with us! 💚

Seventeen members came out to help package and distribute diapers for local families—and then stuck around for lunch and plenty of laughs. We had such a blast with you all!

We’re so grateful for community groups who are willing to roll up their sleeves, spend time with our team, and make a difference for babies right here in our community. Thank you, Shawnee Rotary! 💚

Jennifer showed up ready to make a difference, bringing 386 diapers with her to volunteer so she could package and get into the hands of families who need them. We are so grateful for her generosity, her time, and her heart for the babies in our community!

Today, we’re celebrating two people who have gone above and beyond for Legacy families. 💚

Roger and Beverly Banning have faithfully volunteered with Legacy since 2021, spending countless hours packaging diapers so they can get into the hands of babies and families who need them. And when we say they make a difference, we mean it—these two hold a record of 2,250 diapers packaged in just TWO HOURS!

Their dedication has not gone unnoticed. During National Diaper Need Awareness Week, the National Diaper Bank Network honored Roger and Beverly with the prestigious Diaper On! Community Award for their incredible commitment to fighting diaper need.

This is a BIG deal and we couldn’t be more proud to see Roger and Beverly recognized for the impact they have made. They help make it possible for Legacy to distribute thousands of diapers to families every month.
