I am such a huge fan of Mr. Rogers and his work- he was an amazing pianist and composer, and the way he treated children, with care and respect, has greatly impacted the way I work with kiddos.

Everybody can make music; you don’t have to be “naturally gifted” or even ”good” at it- it’s the creation and expression that matters. ♥️

I like to help my students learn to read and play music, yes; and- I love to help them develop a curiosity, exploring questions like ”What is possible here?” And “How can I create something outside of the lines that helps to express something that is uniquely mine?”

Having the opportunity to teach students always lights me up; I love getting to share my love for the piano- and the joy that comes with it- with my students!
