Hello, Mize Families! We hope you had a wonderful summer! We will be posting updates for upcoming events, activities, and any Mize news in a new FB Group moving forward. You can find the FB Group by searching "Mize Elementary Families PTO" (or click on the link in the comments below). Due to a change in Facebook algorithms, we decided to change the format of our PTO page so that we have a greater opportunity to reach our families more effectively. Day number 5 of Teacher Appreciation Week was a success thanks to all of YOU for your gracious donations! 🎉🙌🏻 Our Mize Teacher’s & Staff received an awesome lunch and goodies too! 🥗🍪 They also received Starbucks gift cards and coffee mugs ☕️ reminding them that they are “kind of a big deal” 😉💪🏻👌🏻 as gifts of appreciation for all they do! This week is Staff Appreciation Week at Mize and we are celebrating our “SUPERHERO” staff and teachers! 👏🏻💞🎉

Thank you to our generous families who have and will be contributing each day to providing fun treats for our fabulous staff. 🌟 We couldn’t do it without you. ❤️ Today we kicked the week off with 🍩 and ☕️ - delish! 👌🏻

Hello Mize Families!!

❤️ We need YOUR help to GIVE BACK to our community! ❤️

Please help us collect non-perishable food items for the De Soto Kansas Food Pantry. Their food bank serves many families in need within our community. You can drop off your items in the donation box located in the main school entrance April 24th through the morning of May 4th. 👍🏻

Some of the top requested items needed are as follows:

🍎 Applesauce
🌽 Canned Vegetables 🚫(except green beans)🚫
🍅 Canned Tomatoes/Sauce
🍗 Canned Meat & Beans (canned or dried)
🥜 Peanut Butter
🍓 Jelly
🥞 Pancake Mix & Syrup
🍝 Pasta Sauce
🥘 Box or Skillet Meals
🥔 Instant Potatoes
🥖 Muffin/Bread/Cake Mix & Flour/Sugar
