To help everyone enjoy the festival safely, the City of Shawnee will close Johnson Drive in front of Herman Laird Park. The closure will begin after 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, and last through Sunday evening, June 7. Northbound Cody and Southbound Flint will remain open.

Please be advised that ALL official Old Shawnee Days vendor and food truck spaces are SOLD OUT for 2026. We are not accepting additional vendors or food trucks, and no legitimate vendor spaces are currently available for purchase.

If anyone contacts you claiming to have vendor or food truck spaces available for Old Shawnee Days and requests payment, please do not send money and contact us directly to verify the information.

We have received reports involving an individual using the name "Elizabeth Franklin" who may be representing herself as affiliated with Old Shawnee Days. This person is not associated with our event.

All official Old Shawnee Days communications come directly from our event staff through official Old Shawnee Days channels.

This beloved Kansas City area tradition draws thousands of spectators every year and is one of the largest community parades in Johnson County. Participation is FREE, and this year’s parade theme is:
