The MAA teaching staff is complete for the 2026-27 school year!
Please welcome Sonnya Mosqueda to the MAA Community. She has been hired to fill the 5th/6th-grade homeroom position for next year. Her primary responsibilities will be to teach 5th-grade math, 6th-grade math, 5th/6th-grade science, 7th-grade science, and 5th/6th-grade Bible.
Sonnya is an experienced teacher who has taught a wide range of students from 1st through 8th grade. Her background in science is especially strong, and she relies on everyday examples to reinforce the concepts taught in class.
As a veteran teacher, she has a well-established classroom management system that stems from her love for students and helps them understand the routines and systems that make a classroom effective. No doubt she will challenge students to improve their technology skills and find ways to put their faith into action through community service.
We are excited to have Sonnya join our already amazing team of educators.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the freedoms and opportunities we are blessed to enjoy each day.
As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude on those who served with courage and selflessness.
