It’s a night to celebrate all the memories, accomplishments, and excitement ahead as our 8th graders prepare for high school!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week so special at MTMS!
Our teachers and staff pour so much into our students every single day, and we loved having the opportunity to celebrate them all week long with:

🌮 A Taco Tuesday/Cinco de Mayo lunch
🥜 A build-your-own trail mix bar on Wednesday
✏️ Classroom supplies + heartfelt student thank-you notes on Thursday

🐺 MTMS PTA Needs You! 🐺
We’re looking for a few great volunteers to join our board next year!
We’re especially hoping to find a Treasurer, and it’s more manageable than it sounds! With only 1–2 hours per month, you’d be handling the budget, monthly reporting, and a few other small tasks. Our outgoing treasurer has everything in great shape for an easy handover.
We’re also looking for a Community Service Coordinator to help connect our school with meaningful opportunities to give back.
No experience needed, just a love for our school and a little of your time! Reach out or comment below if you’re interested.

It was wonderful welcoming our future Timberwolves to MTMS for Middle School Preview Night!

Current 5th graders had the chance to explore the building, practice opening lockers, meet their future 6th grade teachers, and see examples of the types of projects and learning experiences waiting for them next year. From science and social studies to art, engineering, and more, students got a glimpse of all the opportunities ahead.

Most importantly, it was a chance for students to walk the halls, ask questions, and start feeling comfortable in the school that will soon be theirs.

A big thank you to our MTMS teachers, staff, PTA, and student volunteers who helped make the evening welcoming and informative for our future students and their families.

And a special thank you to Sparkling Home Cleaning Services for sponsoring the evening and supporting our MTMS community.
