A few of our OBU upperclassmen worship studies students got the opportunity to attend the Sing! Conference in Nashville this week. While there they got to participate in sessions and workshops that trained them in areas of theology, technology, and ministry.

They heard from theologians John Piper and Sinclair Ferguson, as well as Wes Huff and Malcolm Guite. They were led in worship by Keith and Kristyn Getty, Matt Boswell, and many other theological musicians.

You can see from their faces that they had a wonderful time!

You may have missed Dr Crider but don’t miss the others.

All are welcome

OBU worship students get the opportunity to hear from Dr. Joe Crider, Dean of the School of Church Music and Worship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary this Friday in their worship forum. Dr Crider’s presentation will be, “Why Do We Gather?”

Dr. Crider previously published “Scripture-Guided Worship: A Call to Pastors and Worship Leaders” that our worship students read during their time at OBU.

Dr. Crider is passionate about training the next generation of worship leaders and encouraging pastors and worship leaders to embrace the Bible as their guide for corporate worship.

What a blessing for our OBU worship students to hear from Dr. Crider!
