Thank you to Gerry Brooks for speaking with our Riverview Elementary teachers today! RE Staff has raved it was an amazing surprise for their professional development!

Our original goal for The Leader in Me program at RE was to fund 5 years. Through 3 events, our community raised 7 years of funding! Thank you again to all donors and supporters! Through 3 events, your commitment to leadership was able to make this program possible for 7 years (2018 - 2025)! Giving our young students this exposure to leadership and the 7 Habits will be something they carry on throughout their education.

With our mission complete, the final funds were granted to RE for the 2024-2025 school year, as well as kick off the year with this amazing surprise to have Gerry Brooks here to speak to staff!

Thank you to Superintendent Dr. Cory Gibson for attending today as well and to Unified School District #232, Riverview Elementary PTA & USD 232 Education Foundation for partnering with us to make this a success!

RE Friends & Families: Four years ago today we hosted our first fundraiser to bring the Leader In Me program to Riverview.

Since the 2018, 2019 & 2020 events were held on the first Saturday in March, it seems appropriate to formally announce the board has closed the RETLIM nonprofit and transitioned the savings into the long term account with GKCCF.

The boards of RETLIM and the Riverview PTA met to discuss a transition in the summer of 2021 and finalized a MOA in the fall. Moving forward the RE PTA will include LIM as a budget line item under subscriptions. The GKCCF account was established to pay LIM directly for the annual licensing and membership until the funds are depleted, this ensuring funds raised are used for LIM.

We are incredibly proud of the commitment from our volunteer planning committees and the amazing RE families that planned, donated and attended the Parents Night Out (PNO) celebrations. Including the 2021 fall Tailgate PNO at Garrett Park!

The first three PNOs exceeded our five year fundraising goal of 60k! This excess funding will sustain LIM for a total of seven years. Thank you!

To the dozens of volunteers that picked up, set up, gave up time to help create these amazing nights - THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone for your support, your dedication and for funding the LIM program at Riverview.

We hope you all have fond memories and moments of joy from the time spent together celebrating our Riverview community for LIM!

Sincerely, the former RETLIM Board, Tina, Erin, Laura & Beth

To our second!

Wow, Riverview families, you've outdone yourselves! Merci beaucoup (thank you)!

Today we are in gratitude of your support with over $19,000 raised at last night’s 2nd Annual Parents Night Out! Since we exceeded our goal, the Riverview students will enjoy a glow party soon!

It won’t be long until you hear from the RE TLIM and RE PTA on how these donations will benefit your kiddos, teachers and school. None of this would be possible without your vision, passion and commitment to the district. We can’t wait to see the impact your generosity has helping our Riverview community and children to thrive!

Post your pics of all the fun and let us know what you enjoyed the most. And thanks again for helping make this an outstanding event!
