AES Engineering Scholarship Deadline
The deadline for the 19th annual AES Scholarship is October 8, 2024

Application Process

Students will submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of our web site http://www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.htm

The winner(s) will be announced within 2 weeks of the deadline.
Each winner will be personally notified by email.

The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. You plan to attend one of the following schools: (Or are a single-parent non-traditional student)
• Berean Academy Elbing, KS
• Oklahoma Bible Academy Enid, OK
• Hillsdale Christian School Hillsdale, OK
• Howard Payne University Brownwood, TX (and satellite campuses)
• Hardin Simmons University Abilene, TX (and satellite campuses)
• Oklahoma Baptist University Shawnee, OK
• Houston Baptist University Houston, TX
2. You must have a sibling attending one of the above schools, another ACSI member school or a post- secondary Christian based institution.

REQUIRED:
1. Fully completed Application for Tuition Assistance, and
2. Two or more fully completed Reference Forms from individuals who know you well and are selected from the following: school teacher, school counselor, coach, church pastor, church youth pastor, school on-site administrator or persons in other similar roles. The Reference Form must be returned by the person completing the form directly to the Suttle Scholarship Fund no later than June 1.

3. Fully completed Organization Support Statement (only if you are a client or former client of a live-in single parent family assistance program seeking assistance for post-secondary tuition.)

1. Academic Transcripts
2. Most recent report card
3. Scores from widely used standardized testing such at the ACT or SAT
4. Evidence of class ranking at your current educational institution

Students can apply for the OG&E Positive Energy Scholarship, a four-year, $60,000 scholarship award. Since 2018, we’ve awarded 15 scholarships – totaling $900,000 – to high school seniors who commit to attending college in Oklahoma or Arkansas. BigSun Scholarship

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in or what their capacity in that sport is.

We were excited to be notified that our new financial aid packets were a gold winner at this years Collegiate Advertising Awards! We worked hard with our partners at Clark Higher Ed to completely revamp our financial aid materials to make them as detailed and helpful as possible.

It’s been a tough week on Bison Hill, but we know how important it is to keep moving forward and help our students finish the semester strong! Two members of our financial aid team ventured out of the storm aftermath the past few days to attend the Oklahoma Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Conference. A Lot of changes are coming to the FAFSA and the world of financial aid this next year so we’re devoting the time to learn all we can to help walk our students through the process! We’ll share more as we can!

This years theme was, “We’re Hitting It Out Of The Park” and Hornsby from the Tulsa Drillers came to give us a quick mental break after lots of financial aid sessions! We’re hoping Shaz doesn’t get too jealous, he’s still our fave 🦬

The Oklahoma Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star has established a scholarship program to assist individuals who have been called to serve and are obtaining a higher education in order to pursue a career in the many fields of Christian ministry. Executive Women International®(EWI) is pleased to announce that our Oklahoma City Chapter is again participating in the Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) scholarship program. The ASIST Scholarship is a non-discriminatory, education scholarship program for the benefit of non-traditional students. The goal of the ASIST Program is to enable recipients to improve their self-esteem and to have a positive impact on the recipient’s personal life, employment, family and community.

In order to participate in the scholarship, applicants must meet the following:

If currently attending the student must not be on academic probation

Get To Know Your SFS Team!!

We asked each member of our SFS team her favorite thing about Christmas and we want to share those with you this week so you can get to know us a little better. Today we have Danielle! Danielle serves as the Director of our SFS Team.

Danielle said, "I just love all the cozy things this time of year. I'm not a cold-weather girl, but this time of year I love to cozy up with a blanket by the Christmas tree, sip hot chocolate, and watch a Christmas movie or do a puzzle. This is also my first Christmas being married so I'm very excited to spend it with my husband and start making new traditions as a family!"
