Gordon Cooper Technology Center is seeking a
Health Division Technician.

Job Summary:
Responsibilities include assisting the health director and health instructors with supervised skills practice, clinical, reviewing/submitting health paperwork to internal and external agencies, developing learning activity packets for student’s individualized study, duties include answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, reviewing student files and healthcare documents, typing letters, reports, and filing. Employee will assist the Health Careers programs at Shawnee/ Seminole locations, PN program, and Advanced Health program.

Required Education/Experience:
Practical Nursing License
Minimum of two years’ experience in a related industry/business setting.
Must have organizational skills, be dependable, and complete work accurately, thoroughly, and according to specifications.
Must be a quick learner for different technology backgrounds.
Must demonstrate capability and willingness to assume added responsibilities.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
Ten years’ experience in a related industry/business setting.
Full time experience in a nursing education program.


Work Day/Year:
12 month, 260 days per fiscal year, 8 hours per day- Exempt

Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience, $50,000- $58,000
