After a 34-0 win over FVL, the Shawano Hawks have qualified for the playoffs as a 7-seed. Under the current WIAA format, this is the first time ever that we have qualified for the post season in 3 consecutive seasons!
The Hawks will travel to Menasha next Friday to take on the 2nd seeded Bluejays at Calder Stadium. See you there!

Tonight during our game against New London, take a look at the back of our helmets. The small stickers on the back of the helmet are to recognize the importance of having Athletic Trainers in the secondary school setting. ATs statewide are improving the safety of not only football, but all sports associated with the school. ATs also help lessen the risk of injury with preventative exercises, and education to the general public, coaches, athletes and their parents. Please help spread awareness of the importance of ATs and thank an AT for keeping your athletes safe.

Last Friday Shawano improved to 2-1 on the season with a 50-6 win over GB East! The Hawks ran for nearly 500 yds on the ground led by Brayden Dickelman’s 12 carries for 293 yards 4 TDs in the first half! Brayden had a 99 yd TD run in the 2nd quarter and is a nominee for the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week on WisSports; vote here: https://www.wissports.net/news_article/show/1047698

Football contact days for tomorrow and Monday are rescheduled due to forecasted rain/storms and the gym being closed. Contact days will be July 7-10 from 1-4pm. All players grades 9-12 are encouraged to attend!
