West Point Society of Shavano Park Graduates, former cadets, family members and other persons interested in fostering the principles and welfare of the United State Military Academy.

The purpose of the West Point Society of Shavano Park is to provide an organization through which graduates, former cadets and other persons interested in fostering the principles and welfare of the United State Military Academy can maintain and enhance their comradeship, while simultaneously affording themselves the opportunity to gain insight into the important events of today and the anticipated developments of tomorrow with special emphasis on military and national affairs. The organization serves to enhance the image of the Military Academy and is dedicated to maintain and foster the camaraderie of those that come from the Long Grey Line and to those that support the institution

You’ve come a long way since R-Day! Do great things in the Army, be the best damn leaders to your soldiers, help out your fellow lieutenants, party hard, and then party some more, pay back your cow loan and make sure you watch Army football no matter where you are in the world. But most importantly - don’t make the Long Gray Line look bad out in the real world. Congrats, 2018. Crack open a cold one. You did it.

The academy is honored to announce that Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr., the 19th Chairman of The Joint Staff, will be the commencement speaker for the U.S. Military Academy’s Class of 2018. The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 26.
