Crusaders, Get Ready to Hit the Court! 🏀

It’s almost time to lace up those sneakers! We are excited to announce our upcoming Basketball Tryouts on September 12th. We’ve adjusted our schedule to keep everyone moving, so please take note of the times below. Let's show that Crusader spirit!

Mark Your Calendars for September 12:
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: MS Boys + All Girls (MS & Varsity)
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Parents Meeting (MS & Varsity)
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Varsity Boys

Important Note: Students must have a valid physical on file to participate in tryouts.

Parents: Please make sure to join us for the mandatory meeting at 11:30 AM to get all the important details for the season. Let's make this year our best one yet—go Crusaders!

Our kindergarten students put their shape skills to the test with a classroom shape hunt! They did a fantastic job finding circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles of all sizes. Learning is everywhere when you know what to look for!

Chapel looked a little different this week as we introduced our new small groups for middle and high school students. In true Central fashion, Mrs. Jones and Mr. Williams made a memorable entrance in inflatable costumes to help build excitement!

Each Thursday, our middle and high school students will alternate between worship services and small-group gatherings, creating opportunities to grow in faith, build relationships, and encourage one another.

Our second graders are learning all about the Creation Mandate and God’s amazing creation! They recently learned about Day 3, when God created the land, plants, and trees.

To bring our lesson to life, each student got to plant flowers in a cup and see firsthand how God designed plants to grow and flourish.

Students in grades 6–12 who are interested in robotics are invited to learn more about joining the Central Christian Robotics Team for the 2026–2027 season.

Whether you have experience with engineering and coding or are completely new to robotics, we would love for you and a parent to attend our interest meeting.

Thankful Thursday
Our sixth grade Bible students took some time to reflect on the many things they have to be thankful for, writing their thoughts on sticky notes and sharing them together.
We love seeing our students practice gratitude and recognize God’s goodness in both the big things and the little things. What a great reminder for all of us to pause, reflect, and give thanks!

The Class of 2027 took on a different kind of challenge during a senior class trip to Beat The Bomb Atlanta!
Joined by Mrs. Kimmy Jones and Campus Pastor Jonathan Wood, our seniors worked together, took on the challenges, and made some great memories along the way.
And yes—they BEAT THE BOMB! They may have won, but they definitely didn’t make it out clean! 💥💙
What a fun way for our seniors to spend time together and kick off a memorable senior year!
