Bass Middle School Bass Middle School is a middle school in the Coweta County School System and is named after former School Superintendent Blake Bass.

BMS opened its doors in August 2021 to approximately 100 staff members and 800 students.

It’s School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, and we’re celebrating the incredible people who go the extra mile to get our Bulldogs to and from school safely each day!

Our bus drivers do so much more than drive a bus! They greet students with a smile, build relationships, offer encouragement, and help start and end each school day on a positive note. Their dedication, patience, and care make a difference in the lives of our students every single day!

🎨❤️ COMMUNITY SUPPORT MAKES CREATIVITY POSSIBLE! 🐾

A HUGE Bulldog THANK YOU to Justin, Meat Department Manager at Publix on Fisher Road, for his incredibly generous donation of OVER 600 trays to our BMS Art Department! 🎨🖌️

These trays will be put to great use by our talented student artists as they explore their creativity, experiment with new techniques, and bring their artistic visions to life!

We are so grateful for community partners who go above and beyond to support our students and teachers. Justin, thank you for investing in our Bulldogs and helping make amazing things happen in our classrooms!

Our Bulldogs came ready to play yesterday, defeating the Madras Eagles 46–14 in an impressive team victory! 💪🔥

🏈 OFFENSIVE HIGHLIGHTS:

Josiah Fyffe powered his way to TWO rushing touchdowns!

Marvalous Abah added another rushing touchdown!

Jesse Smith connected with Greyson Bettis on a BEAUTIFUL touchdown pass!

Preston Miller, Donovan Dover, Zaid Arrelanno, and Dallas Crain all contributed in the kicking game!

Nolan Jones, Aidan Peeples, and Isiah King helped lead the way with strong performances on the offensive line!

🛡️ DEFENSIVE DOMINATION:

Our Bulldog defense showed up BIG!

Jammarian Williams and Bentley Wagy each recorded a PICK SIX! That's TWO defensive touchdowns! 🔥

Alex Czarnacki, Levi Noojin, Ja'kobe Benning, and Pax Barnes all contributed multiple tackles!

Big tests. Big wins. Big Bulldog energy! 🔥

It was another action-packed week in the Dawg House, and our Bulldogs showed up ready to WORK, WIN, and make memories!

📝 Brains were put to the TEST! Our Bulldogs tackled their first nine-week exams!

🏐 DOUBLE THE TEAMS. DOUBLE THE WINS! Our A and B volleyball teams kicked off their seasons with victories in their FIRST games! 💪

🏈 BULLDOGS BROUGHT THE HEAT! Another football WIN, this time against East Coweta Middle! ❤️🖤

🎬 STAY GOLD, 8TH GRADE! Our 8th graders stepped into the world of The Outsiders for a day of unforgettable learning and fun! 🌅

📚 READING HAS ITS REWARDS! Our book vending machine was dispensing more than books—it was delivering excitement and a love for reading!

⭐ LEADERSHIP EARNED A SEAT AT THE TABLE! Bulldogs celebrated with lunch, laughter, and friends at the high-top tables!

🏈🐾 BULLDOGS WIN! BMS defeats the East Coweta Indians 41–28! ❤️🤍

Our Bulldogs showed incredible resilience in last night’s back-and-forth battle with ECMS! They kept fighting, made big plays, and held the Indians scoreless in the second half! 💪

🔥 Offensive highlights:

• Jesse Smith rushed for 140 yards and passed for 200 yards, scoring 2 rushing touchdowns and throwing for 2 more!
• Chance Spriggle recorded 108 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns!
• Josiah Fyfe scored 2 rushing touchdowns and powered through several tough runs!
• Jack Veasey made a couple of key first-down catches to keep our drives moving!

👏 Special teams came through! Jax Keldorph successfully kicked two onside kicks, Bentley Wagy recovered multiple onside kicks, and Donovan Dover added 5 extra points!

🛑 Our defense hunkered down! Jammarius Reeves, Marvalous Abah, Aidan Peeples, and Ja'kobe Benning made several big tackles as the Bulldogs shut out ECMS in the second half!

⭐ A special shoutout to LJ Graham and Greyson Bettis, who played EVERY snap on both offense and defense! What an example of determination and commitment to your team!

Our BMS artists brought their creativity to the 2026 Coweta County Kiwanis Fair Art Show—and brought home an incredible collection of honors! 🏆

📚 9 WEEK EXAMS ARE HERE, BULLDOGS! 🐾❤️🖤

As we wrap up the first nine weeks, we want to remind our students and families that 9 Week Exams are an important opportunity for students to show what they have learned and how much they have grown!

These exams matter, so help your Bulldog come ready to do their best:

📅 Tuesday, Oct. 6 — 8th Grade Exams
📅 Wednesday, Oct. 7 — All Grades Exams
📅 Thursday, Oct. 8 — 6th & 7th Grade Exams
⭐ 8th Grade: Outsiders Day on Oct. 8!

A few simple things can make a BIG difference:
✅ Be at school and arrive on time
😴 Get a good night’s sleep
🥣 Eat breakfast
📚 Review notes and study materials
💻 Bring your Chromebook fully charged
💪 Take your time and give your BEST effort!

Attendance is especially important during exam days. Please avoid late arrivals, early checkouts, and absences whenever possible so students don’t miss these important assessments.
