📣 Parent Orientation is TONIGHT, 9/1, at 6:30 pm. This Parent Orientation is intended to be for parents, so please make other arrangements for your children.

🎒 Tomorrow, 9/2 - Meet the Teacher Open House is on Wednesday, September 2nd from 9:00 am - 10:30 am. Students will visit their classroom with a parent or caregiver. Students should bring their backpack for the back-to-school blessing. 🍩 The Blossim Donuts truck, a nut free bakery, will be out front with donuts and beverages available to purchase!

💙 SUMC Preschool will have SPIRIT WEAR DAYS on 🌱 Garden Enrichment Days with Mrs. Bruns, in-house field trips and other fun event days throughout the year. The T-shirt order and payment are due by September 2nd. Please make checks payable to SUMC Preschool. If paying with cash, please be sure to have exact change. The t-shirts are optional and the order form is attached. The shirts are $13.00 each and are available in toddler, youth and adult sizes. We will let you know when a spirit day is coming up, so everyone can wear a blue shirt.

☀️ Help with the Sunshine Committee which is SUMC Preschool's room parent committee. The Sunshine Committee depends on monetary donations to fund their activities. Cash or check donations are appreciated and can be brought to school on September 1st at Parent Orientation or at Meet the Teacher on 9/2. Thank you for your kindness. This committee provides treats for students and teachers throughout the school year.

🍫If you'd like to love on the amazing SUMC Preschool team with a little teacher fuel for the start of school, we'd be so grateful for nut-free donations of:
🥨 individual packages of snacks/treats
🥛 bottled water & soft drinks
🍬 individually wrapped candy/mints
Donations can be brought to school on 9/1 or 9/2 or any random school day.

‼️We were able to replace the door k***s throughout the school last week to improve safety. 📣 A big thank you to our amazing preschool community who participated in our fundraisers to make it possible. We used up all of our funds and then some, but it's so worth it.

Our top five fundraisers for the '25 - '26 school year were:
1. Art Show Silent Auction 🖼️

3. Read Across America 📚
4. Skyline 🌭
5. City BBQ ♨️

🍩 Friendly Friday: You donut want to miss Meet the Teacher on Wednesday, September 2nd from 9:00 am - 10:30 am. Blossim Donuts & Coffee truck will be outside in circle drive with delicious donuts and drinks available for purchase. Blossim's is a NUT FREE bakery.

📚 Miss Joy, with the Little Book Club/ Connections Academics, will also be at SUMC Preschool on 9/2 to introduce you to that fun enrichment program.

🎒 Sharonville United Methodist Church will be doing backpack blessings outside of Fellowship Hall between 9:30 am - 10:30 am on 9/2. 🥤Bring your child's backpack and you might want to bring a water bottle too.

🍫 We will be collecting any teacher "fuel" for back to school that you would like to donate on 9/1, 9/2 and any random school day to energize the SUMC Preschool staff. 🥨🍿🍪

🍋 Here's to a refreshing easy peasy lemon squeezy school year! Less than 2 weeks to go until school starts!! Yesterday there was a safety/staff meeting. And today the teachers had a professional development class. Check out our updated team page on our website (link in the comments). We can't wait to see everyone next week at parent orientation and meet the teacher.

We are excited to hear back from Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard to see how much we raised at our first dine to donate for the new school year. The weather was perfect for a delicious treat. I saw so many familiar faces when I was at Rita's. 🤩 We have the BEST families!! Thank you all for your support.

🪣🪏 Friendly Friday: Grab a bucket and a digger and head to Trammel Fossil Park, in Sharonville, to find some treasures with your little ones especially while the weather is nice. 🔆Don't forget a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat on a sunny day. 🍨And if you go on Tuesday, 8/25, be sure to stop by Rita's, in Sharonville, for our first dine to donate of the new school year!
