DreamMaker truly lived up to its name! This was the very first competition ever for the dancers in our Mini Mentorship Program, and we are incredibly proud of how they showed up; shining bright, dancing with joy, and having so much fun!!
Some highlights from the weekend included Most Entertaining (Shake and Pop and Magic To Do), Best Choreography(Gilded), Golden Ticket Winners (Bedrock and Gilded), Regional Golden Ticket Overall Winner (Gilded), PowerPak Scholarships, Wild Dance Intensive Convention Scholarships, and several overall high score awards.
We’ve been working hard on characterization and confidence, and it truly showed on stage. Our dancers performed with authenticity, style, and artistry, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented themselves and our program.
We also want to give a special shoutout to our teen dancers, who were incredible role models and mentors to the minis all weekend long. Their encouragement, leadership, and kindness helped make this experience even more meaningful for our younger dancers.
The season is just getting started, and we’re excited to keep building as we prepare for Applause in just a few weeks. Great job, dancers!
