There's a confidence that comes from a deep self acceptance and knowing that you are so much more than what you see in the mirror. One of the steps that helped me along that self love journey while having alopecia and ovarian tumor surgery, was finding alternative hair that made me feel good about myself again.

It can be daunting to shop for alternative hair and having a private setting and a talented provider makes it so much easier!

It’s true that it takes a fairly secure person to wear a big hat or attention getting sunglasses or fire engine red with purple accessories, without a second thought of what people might say…..it takes an even more sense of self to have the esteem in yourself to be invisible.

That’s right! People who are the most secure in their self worth, their sense of self value and deep down knowing that they are enough don’t have the burning need to be seen, or validated from anything outside themselves.

There’s a sense of grace that comes from not just thinking that you are a divine creation and sense of connectedness to one and all that transcends the need for constant validation that is just human nature.

By invisible I mean:
Donating to a worthy cause without the need to post a picture of yourself with a novelty size check on social media
Being ok with yourself when you realize that you delivered your absolute best and didn’t get the ‘credit’ at the level ‘someone else’ would have
Running errands or dropping off a casserole to the neighbor who has been ill next door without telling everyone about it

Outside achievements don’t always equal inside quiet confidence and self-assurance.

Hey beautiful

I believe in magic as much as anyone, but here's the real truth: There isn't any one time-one size fits all magic solution that will bring you peace of mind, or improve your relationships if there's a part of you that can't accept yourself.

Your frequency or vibration is directly linked to how you feel about yourself on a cellular level.

If there's a negative subconscious thought about yourself running the show, it's the real culprit behind feeling stuck. You might not think about it all the time because we distract ourselves by staying busy.

You can’t mistake a woman who knows exactly who she is.
You’ve seen her. She isn’t wearing anything designer, but you stop and look because she’s so pulled together and in her full authentic power.

Spoiler alert: That sense of style that makes you stop and look has very little to do with the clothes or hair itself.

You know you’ve said at least one of these:

“Oh, I wish I could wear an outfit like that!”
“I wish I could wear my hair like that”.
“I could never go to that ___________ I have no idea what I would wear”.

I’ve heard it thousands of times in so many different ways. But here’s the truth:

What you believe about yourself and what you learn to think about yourself is not your authentic self. We learn who to be through learning how to FIT IN.
We learn by those closest to us telling us what NOT to do.

Little by little, it just becomes automatic to look to someone else for validation on what to wear or how to do your hair.
It’s not your fault, this is one of the most resistant limiting beliefs I have seen in thousands of clients.
▶▶▶▶The belief that a dress, a hairstyle looks better on someone else, even a perfume smelling better on someone else is just simply UNTRUE.

Remember your kindergarten self?
She probably wouldn’t check with her friend first before leaving the house. Kids are the most authentic fashionistas out there because they haven’t learned NOT TO be yet!

Our sense of style is just ONE reflection of our inner self.

So a pink peony, a pink dahlia, a pink rose and a pink lily walk in to a bar……🤣
And they all sit at the same table.
And they all feel glorious in their unique beauty.
And they all cheer each other on.
And they are all proud of each other’s bloom and they all know they are similar yet very different.
All beautiful flowers, all different shades of pink, and all very unique!
And it would never occur to anyone to say ‘oh that’s too many flowers’ or “wait we got this covered”
…….and this is a perfect demonstration of how ‘similar’ can be not-so-similar at all!
We all bloom just slightly differently and beautifully, and all here for a reason.

Consider me the fast track to your very own upscale alternative hair salon!
I just got off the phone with my very first ever alternative hair boutique owner client, and I am super excited by the progress she has made in less than one week!
The years of expertise I have put into developing my own one-of-a-kind boutique and my determination to make shopping for alternative hair a pleasant and private experience with special attention to the holistic approach to the hair loss client are what enables me to take you from "thinking about it" to well on your way (including getting you hooked up directly with the best alternative hair brands out there as in just days, not months!!
I'm proud to have developed a great relationship with the companies that carry the best out there. I have my own signature approach to each client that comes through the door, and they leave with the hair they didn't know existed!
After spending this weekend with me in my shop to see how it is set up and how I do a consultation, Sylvia returned home and promptly got a location, her logo and business cards, is choosing the vintage look that expresses her best, and is now set up with some of the vendors!
And, with her location this is going to be off the charts phenomenal!!!! I am so excited to see where this goes!!
