ONLINE COURSES
APO 201 Apologetics (3 cr)
An introduction to the foundational under-standing of, and skills within, the field of apologetics. Students will explore the major apologetics issues that arise today and will learn both the critical thinking skills and theological principles in order to respond persuasively.
BNT 231 Romans & Galatians (3 cr)
A detailed study of Romans and Galatians, giving special attention to the background and doctrinal teaching of each book.
BNT 232 Corinthians & Thessalonians (3 cr)
An analysis and exposition of each book stressing the historical background, devotional, and doctrinal matters, with special emphasis on the gifts of the Spirit.
MIS 215 Spirit-Empowered Church (3 cr)
A comprehensive examination of the Book of Acts and the New Testament epistles to discover principles pursued by Spirit-filled leaders to powerfully and effectively propagate the gospel, noting particularly principles that are foundational to contemporary church growth.

The art and science of Biblical interpretation, giving special attention to the principles necessary for sound Scriptural exegesis in the light of its historical, grammatical, and theological content.
MCO 213 Pastoral Counseling (3 cr) M 6-9
A study of counseling issues faced by the 21st century minister and methods for dealing with the personal and spiritual problems of church and community leaders.
BNT 234 Pastoral Epistles (2 cr) Tu 6-8
An exposition of I & II Timothy and Titus. Consideration is given to the authorship, date, the threat of Gnosticism, and the significance that these epistles have for church organization and for the function of the pastor of the local church.
EDU 200 History & Philosophy of Education (3 cr) Tu 6-9
A survey of the development of education, including the educational ministry in the church. A study is made of the historical and theological foundations of education, with application to teacher recruitment, development, and to processes used in the administration and curricular materials to support educational programs used to meet the needs of a growing church.
REL 211 World Religions (3 cr) Tu 6-9
A study of the major religions of the world and the major western cults. Their history, principal doctrines, and a Biblical refutation will be covered, with an emphasis on how their adherents may be won to Christ.
BTH 313 Theology III (Holy Spirit 3 cr) Th 6-9
A study of the person, offices, administration, and ministry of the Holy Spirit; a practical study of the work of the Spirit in sanctification and in the Spirit-filled life. The course also includes a Biblical and historical study of divine healing, and the significance of prayer.
MIN 320 Intro to Administration (3 cr) – Th 6-9
An investigation of the contrast between leadership and management and further development of management principles used in developing an organization that is based upon a Biblical Worldview.
SOC 221 Marriage & Family (2 cr) – Th 6-8
A general education course in pre-marital and marital relationships. It includes discussions of the structure and functions of the family, family relationships, and child rearing.

A thorough study of the factual content of the book of Acts with emphasis on the work of the Holy Spirit in the origin and growth of the early church. The journeys of Paul are shown in relation to his epistles.

Introduction to theology, including study of God, angels, and demons in view of Scripture.
MIN 323 Conflict Management (2 cr) M & W (8-850 AM)
A study of Biblical principles as they apply to human relationships. The practical application of conflict management in a church setting. This course will also consider how perception, negotiation, fairness, common understanding, compromise and cooperation apply in conflict management.
SOC 450 Intercultural Communication (3 cr) M & W (7:35-8:50 AM)
A practical study of principles and processes for presenting the Gospel to an increasingly diversified, contemporary society. The incarnation is presented as the model for intercultural communication of the Gospel. Contemporary issues such as ethnic, socio-economic, and linguistic diversity are addressed.
SOC 451 Applied Intercultural Communication (1 cr) F (8-9 AM)
The course helps students to integrate learning from general education and the major areas of their four-year program of study (Bible and one of the following ministry focuses: Pastoral, Christian Education, or Missions), The student identifies a problem or concern in a ministerial setting and then determines appropriate methodology for resolving the problem.
ENG 111 Composition I (3 cr) M & W (9- 1015 AM)
This course is designed to help students begin the process of writing academic prose by using proper grammar and formal English.will be on creating a proper thesis and outline while using standard research and organization skills. While writing properly, the student will learn to edit and improve written communication skills.
MIN 100 Introduction to Christian Ministry (3 cr) M & W (1145 AM -115 PM)
This course provides a broad understanding of the concept of ministry as an essential outcome of the Christian life. Emphasis is placed upon the development of a personal ministry framework to inform student’s response to God’s call in their life. Special consideration is given to the practical application of a ministry philosophy appropriate to the student’s field of study.
ENG 121 Applied Information Literacy (2 cr) Tu & Th (8-850 AM)
An introduction of the freshman student to the library, how to find information from various kinds of resources, how to evaluate the information available, etc. A practical course with hands-on experience, it enables the student to apply skills acquired to research assignments.
MIN 327 Servant Leadership (3 cr) Tu & Th (8-915 AM)
Servant Leadership is a style that was exemplified throughout the ministry of Christ and was identified by Robert Greenleaf in 1970 as a style of leadership. In this course we will explain Servant Leadership as a leadership style, describe the skills and characteristics that servant leaders need, and discuss how to apply this leadership style to your personal ministry.

A presentation of the history of Israel in the Old Testament books from Joshua to Esther inclusive, giving special attention to the purpose, outline, important events, and characters of each book.

MPM 211 Homiletics I (3 cr) Tu & Th (1145 AM-115 PM)
A student of the technical ide of the sermon and its preparation. A survey Is made of the various kinds of sermon outlines. Emphasis is given to the analysis of student-prepared outlines and to practical experience.
