🔨👷‍♂️ Construction Week was a success!

Today, our very own Mr. Brad the maintenance man traded his toolbox for the spotlight and taught our 3-year-olds all about construction tools! The children loved learning what different tools are used for and asking LOTS of questions. We’re not sure who had more fun—Mr. Brad or the kids! 😆

Thankfully, he went back to fixing things after the lesson… because we’re pretty sure 25 preschoolers were ready to put his skills to work! 🛠️❤️

NC Pre-K Applications Are Available Online!

Families interested in applying for NC Pre-K for the 2026–2027 school year can complete an application online at:

To be eligible, children must be 4 years old on or before August 31, 2026.

Please remember: NC Pre-K is not first come, first served. Applications are reviewed to determine eligibility and placement.

Attention parents:

Our Preschool Graduation is this Tuesday, May 26 starting at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church.

Just a few reminders.
We will close at 3:30 on Tuesday, May 26th.
Please make sure you are on time. All staff will be participating in graduation and will need time to get ready and make it to the church on time.
We also will not be running afternoon buses. Please make arrangements for your child/children to be picked up from school.

What an honor for Heather Coley, our Director/Owner to be invited to the Governor’s Mansion with friends from other Developmental Day Centers to meet Governor Josh Stein as he declared May 20th Early Childhood Day in North Carolina! ❤️

This job is not always easy, and some days are really hard, but loving and caring for children during these early years is so important. Early childhood teachers pour so much love, patience, and heart into these kids every single day, and it truly matters.

Feeling very thankful tonight to be a small part of something so special. ❤️
