Our little school may have taken quite the beating from the hurricane, but NEVER question the heart, love, or loyalty of a Meigs Wildcat. 🐾
Busted windows. Flooded floors. Storm damage everywhere you look. But if there’s one thing this storm couldn’t touch, it’s the pride we have in our school and the people who make it so special.
On a day when our students could have been sleeping in and enjoying their time off, so many of them, along with their parents, reached out asking one simple question: “How can we help?”
And at 9:00 this morning, they showed up. Not because they had to. Not because anyone expected them to. But because this little school means something to them. They rolled up their sleeves, got to work, and reminded us that being a Wildcat is about so much more than what happens inside four classroom walls.
Windows can be replaced. Floors can be dried. Buildings can be repaired. But the kind of love and loyalty that showed up this morning? You can’t buy that. You build it. 🖤💛
Our building might be a little battered, but our Wildcat pride is stronger than ever.
To every student, parent, and family member who showed up or reached out, THANK YOU. You reminded us that Meigs isn’t just a school. It’s a family.
A hurricane may have knocked us down, but it picked the wrong Wildcats to mess with. 🐾💪
