Owen Stuwe finished in 2nd place today in the 3200m run! He was .05 seconds out of 1st place and smashed his own school record by 12 seconds, running a 9:00.49! Congrats to Owen on earning all state honors!

The build is done, and what an amazing journey it was! Over the course of several days, our students worked together to construct a full-size canoe as part of a partnership with the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence and Urban Wilderness.

Beyond learning how to measure, saw, steam-bend, and lash materials, our students experienced the power of collaboration, focus, and follow-through. The completed canoe now stands as a symbol of what they can accomplish when they bring curiosity, creativity, and teamwork to the table. We’re so proud of their efforts, and grateful to our staff, volunteers, and partners who made it possible!

And it even FLOATS!

🎓❤️Congratulations to our SACS 8th Graders! ❤️🎓

Last night we celebrated an amazing group of students as they graduated and now they will head off to high school. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and the faith, leadership, and kindness they have shown throughout their time at SACS.

We know they are ready for what’s next, and we can’t wait to see where their journeys take them. Once a SACS student, always a SACS student!

It was National Signing Day at Shakopee High School, and we could not be prouder of these three incredible SACS alumni who are officially taking their athletic and academic careers to the next level! Join us in celebrating:

Our amazing 5th graders just wrapped up their annual economic sale, and the results are truly inspiring! 💰✨

This year, our students raised an incredible $1,500 to donate to a local family facing an unimaginably difficult time. All proceeds are going directly to the O’Keefe family right here in Shakopee. Last December, 3-year-old Rylee O’Keefe was diagnosed with Leukemia. Our students stepped into action to help!

The O'Keefe family is deeply rooted in the Shakopee community, her older brothers play in the Shakopee Hockey Association and her dad serves us all on the Shakopee Police Department.

We are so proud of our 5th graders for putting their faith into action and showing what it truly means to love our neighbors.

As part of our marathon incentives, students in grades PreK-8 enjoyed a fun-filled day together making memories, sharing laughs, and soaking in all the excitement of a Twins game. Thank you to everyone who supported our marathon and helped make opportunities like this possible for our students! ❤️💙
