At Shakopee Public Schools, it's more than an education, it's a commitment to our students, staff and community to make a difference, every day. Located in one of the fastest growing suburbs in the Twin Cities, Shakopee Public Schools is proud to serve the Cities of Shakopee, Savage and Prior Lake as well as Jackson, Louisville and Sand Creek Townships. The district directly supports nearly 8,000 students, has 1,000+ dedicated staff members, 11+ buildings, 1.7+ million square feet of space and over 350+ acres of land, making it a truly unique community with endless opportunity. The community also recently passed a 2021 Operating Levy and the renewal of a 2024 Safety & Technology Levy, allowing the district to provide additional student and operational-based support, critical safety needs and competitive compensation for educators and support staff.

🐾Pearson Early Learning Center's early childhood school year calendar is separate from K-12. Pearson Early Learning Center students are not in session on Thurs., Oct. 15 - Fri., Oct. 16, 2026; they are in session on Wed., Oct. 14 based upon class registration.

Your support allows us to keep our class size targets the same, implement the Science of Reading and our Comprehensive Literacy Framework, implement a new math curriculum and continue to maintain programs.
