Shakopee Educational Endowment Foundation (SEEF) funded a grant for materials for Zoo Phonics extension activities and materials to be used building-wide here at Pearson! The Shakopee Educational Endowment Foundation (SEEF) is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of education in the Shakopee School District by funding projects that provide innovative opportunities for our students. This grant allowed the purchase of many activities to help our youngest learners grow in their knowledge of letter sounds, letter names, writing, and beginning reading. Our first duckling, Crunch, has had a very busy Monday!

Pickles hatched last night! He is the first of our chicks and ducklings to hatch in the incubator our STEAM Lab. He had a very busy first day of school and is looking forward to the other friends to join him soon!!!🐣

This school year, we paired with Shakopee High Schools students in an art class called “Creative Professionals” to create new posters for our building behavior expectations. The students involved included: Lilly Yem, Jasmine Outhaveng, and Madalyn Nehwah. And a shout out to our own, Jackie McNeil, who took the photographs in our preschool classes. We are so excited to get these up in our common areas: classroom, gym, cafeteria, hallways, and bathrooms.
