Our final Then & Now of the school year! As part of our 150th Anniversary celebration, we’ve had so much fun recreating cherished photos from Hathaway Brown’s history. Congratulations to Federica Salvagni '31 on her outstanding 7th-place finish at the 2026 Power of the Pen State Tournament! After advancing through district and regional competitions, Federica placed among the top 12 writers in Ohio—a remarkable achievement in a field that began with more than 2,200 students from nearly 300 schools. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishment.

We also celebrate Caroline Stangel '31, who received a District Platinum Pen Award for her story, The Pencil Escape. This honor recognizes exceptional writing and includes publication in Power of the Pen's Book of Winners. Congratulations, Caroline, on this wonderful achievement!

On their final day of school, our Prime students gathered in the courtyard for Serendipity Day, making wishes for the year ahead as each girl tossed a penny into the fountain. We wish all of our Prime families a wonderful summer and can't wait to see how our youngest Blazers continue to grow next year! ✨

Congratulations to the Class of 2030! 🎉 This week, our eighth-grade students marked a major milestone with their Closing Ceremony—celebrating the end of Middle School and the start of an exciting new chapter in Upper School.

We can’t wait to see all the ways they’ll rise boldly in the years ahead.

Congratulations to the Class of 2034! 🎉 Our fourth graders celebrated their Primary School journey with a joyful Closing Ceremony—honoring all they’ve learned, discovered, and achieved along the way.

From curious thinkers to kind-hearted leaders, these Blazers have grown in every way—and they’re more than ready to take on the adventures of Middle School.

Before heading into exams, our Upper School Closing Ceremony celebrated the Blazers who embody our Learn for Life motto each and every day. 🤎💛

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! These 93 seniors have filled our halls — and our hearts — with joy, curiosity, laughter, and an incredible sense of sisterhood. After a remarkable college admissions season, our graduates are heading to 68 colleges and universities across the country and beyond, empowered to lead with confidence, compassion, and purpose.

We were honored to welcome alumna Laura Sullivan McKenna '84 as our Commencement Speaker. A distinguished leader in investment management and principal at Select Equity Group — and proud parent of two HB graduates — Laura exemplifies the curiosity, integrity, and leadership at the heart of an HB education. Mindy Roth '09, President of the Alumnae Council, delivered the Alumnae Charge, connecting past, present, and future Blazers through sisterhood and strength.

The Class of 2026 leaves HB ready to blaze bold new trails and continue learning for life. 🎓
