Backkk by popular demand. lol! (kidding)😜. Seriously though, I have had more conversations and bookings for private in-person & online lessons for the coming weeks and month than I did weeks ago. Go figure! 😄🤷🏻‍♀️

In my mind, it’s the universe wanting me to keep on extending, carrying on the message; reaching more and more people and bringing little delights into their kitchen and everyday lives. 😇

Anyway, folks I am here if you need me to add little spice in your wintry months (pun intended! ) and learn a thing or two on how to perfect and master the art of balancing the cooling-warming spices to make your own special masterpiece.

Hello everyone ! I have been quiet for a while. It’s been a season of change of sorts for me……Happy to announce I have taken on the role of a full time mental health worker as a Youth Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist in my local community non profit agency plus heading back to school to get fully licensed. Safe to say, I have busy months ahead!! 😌

As much as I have loved the journey and evolution of Cleveland Masala, the cooking/food events chapter is closed for now. Ayurveda Wellness Counseling stays close to my heart, and may revisit it in later times.

Till then, have a safe and blessed holiday season. It was truly a pleasure to make so many wonderful connections here. This account will get inactive. Will look you up on the other side. ☺️🙏✨

The Autumn Equinox is considered the time for Ritu Sandhi in Ayurveda, meaning period of Seasonal transition.
In literal terms in means : Ritu - Season, Sandhi - Joint.

A transitional period of time which joins two seasons. Roughly 15 days in between two seasons - last 8 days of the previous season and first 8 days of following season makes Ritusandhi.

It is an important period, one that needs more attention than we imagine. The change in diet and lifestyle is essential but should not be drastic. The foods suitable for next season should be added slowly.

Our bodies are used to the weather and foods of the previous season. According to Ayurveda, as the weather patterns change, and if we do not make a change in our diet and lifestyle to balance out the the coming season, the Doshas tend to
👉accumulate,
👉aggravate and
👉cause disease.

Ayurveda has guidelines for these seasonal changes for Fall/Autumn and Spring/Summer. Health is greatly influenced by our lifestyle( Swasthavritta).
We cover this and more in our month long immersion of Living Ayurveda.
