Feeling inspired to travel internationally next year? ποΈ Make your plans today! Shaker Heights High School students are traveling to South Africa in Spring 2027!
The South Africa Cultural Exchange (SACE) gives Shaker students the opportunity to learn about the beauty, diverse historic and contemporary cultures of South Africa while also learning research-based truths about African contribution to humankind from the times of pre-colonial Africa in antiquity to the present day.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in exciting activities across South Africa, including a safari ride through Kruger National Park, exploring the Cape of Good Hope, including the Boulders Penguin Colony, and hiking through the forest floor of Graskop Gorge π― The wildlife and natural scenery of South Africa is stunning to any traveler, including Shaker Heights Schools students.
