The Shaker Heights Woodbury Bands

The annual SHHS band concert & ice cream social is back after a 2 year hiatus! Join us this Monday, April, 25th 6:30 outside or in the North gym ( weather dependent) for some fabulous music & frozen treats. All are welcome!!

The Woodbury band concerts were pre-recorded and shared this year. Please enjoy! I love hearing Hot Cross Buns and realizing how far the kids have come over the years. Kudos to the Woodbury Directors for such success during 1.5 years of Covid turmoil.

A tough loss on a rainy, cold day, but our Seniors shined. We had a great halftime show and Senior Recognition. We want to thank our Seniors for their leadership and dedication during this especially unusual season. We are glad we can continue enjoying you play. Let’s Go to A Parade! Everyone loves parades, and The Labor Day Parade (rescheduled from Memorial Day) kicks off Monday, September 6 at 9 am. The route begins at the intersection of Van Aken Blvd. and Lee Rd. and proceeds east to the Van Aken District in the westbound lane of Van Aken.

The Shaker Bands has teamed up with Fuzion sports for high quality gear to show off your Shaker Band pride! These items can be personalized with your name or instrument. The site it now open and will close on Aug. 22 so that we can have the gear to you soon after Labor Day. Proceeds from the sale do help fund the Band Boosters. Attention Woodbury Band Parents:

Please have your Band student bring his/her instrument to school on Thursday, November 29 for the in school assembly concert for students and teachers. This assembly was moved from Friday to Thursday. Please share this information with other band parents and students who may have not heard the announcement during the school day.

We will see you next week for the evening concerts at the middle school.
