Onaway Elementary School

Yesterday was the start of the week-long Onaway Olympics, our primary fundraiser for the year for Onaway Elementary School! Our students will be taking part in Olympic games stations all week during their PE classes and a school wide reading challenge!

Whether we are exercising our brains or our bodies, with these fundraising efforts 100% of the money raised will benefit our school and support PTO sponsored activities including service projects, staff appreciation, the fall family picnic, Onaway Little Theater, family fun nights, class enrichment opportunities and new technology. We’d love to hear your Onaway story! We are building bridges to the past with the art of storytelling and making connections. Please share a favorite memory or story as we reflect on the history of Onaway as a “Fair and Friendly” community.

Onaway Story Form and RSVP

The 2023 Book Fair will be open and we’d love to donate 100 books to the Onaway community. If you’d like to donate a book, stop by the Book Fair during the event.

Other events will be planned throughout the year, including the 100th day of school celebration, creation of a time capsule, planting a tree and more.

Happy summer! All are invited to the Onaway PTO summer gathering this Thursday, July 14th from 6-7:30 pm at the Onaway playground!

PTO will also be distributing 4th grade memory books to anyone who hasn't picked one up yet. Hope to see you there!
