Always place your infant flat on their back for every sleep and nap until they reach 1 year of age.

Moving a ride-on car with their feet helps toddlers build leg strength, gross motor coordination, and spatial awareness. This foot-to-floor motion teaches them cause and effect and fosters independence as they learn to control speed and direction themselves.

Painting a planter pot is an excellent "process art" activity for children. It naturally builds fine motor skills by strengthening their grip and wrist control, boosts spatial awareness as they navigate the curved, three-dimensional surface, and teaches cause and effect through color mixing.

Sensory bins help children build fine motor skills (pinching, scooping), enhance cognitive development (sorting, volume concepts), and boost language skills through descriptive vocabulary.

Looking at their reflection teaches toddlers critical developmental skills. It fosters self-awareness, helping them realize they are separate individuals. It also hones motor coordination as they watch themselves move, and builds emotional intelligence as they mimic and recognize facial expressions.
