It’s scary to be vulnerable. Almost 10 years ago I was in a spot where I was thinking about therapy, but scared and didn’t know how to go about it. Ironically the 3-4 people I shared this thought with (you know who you are), all opened up to me that they were currently in therapy, loved it & thought it would be helpful for me too. I had no idea they were seeing a therapist, and their courage to share that with me gave me the courage to find my therapist.

My hope with this episode is that maybe me sharing my story, will help just one person who is maybe in that same spot I was in all those years ago.

Math by the Book connects math with children’s literature making it the perfect resource to hit multiple teaching standards across content areas. This resource is great for ALL educational settings: public, private, charter, alternative education, homeschooling.

The name .inc came about because I wanted to help both children and adults learn tools and provide experiences that help elevate their lives. I wanted to help you, ELEVATE YOU🤍

One tool in my own personal toolbox has been going to therapy.

November 2015 is when I had the courage to have my first therapy session.

9 years of therapy later, here I am. Looking back at the person I was back then, so proud of her for taking that first step to get the extra help & support I needed.

My goal moving forward with .inc is to start sharing more about my mental health journey, in hopes that it will help others with theirs🤍

👋🏻 Hi there!

It’s been a while! So let me re-introduce myself. My name is Lauren Pasquini. A little over two years ago, I opened the doors to .inc and welcomed my first group of families through our bright purple door.

In May 2021, I resigned from my public school teaching position. When I walked away that day I felt so free, excited, and terrified all at the same time. From that day on I made a promise to myself that I was going to align my life with my purpose & truly follow my heart and walk the unknown path that I have faith God was leading me on.

If you would have asked me when I opened the doors to .inc in June of 2022, if I saw myself having to close them in 2023, the answer would have been No.

However, I had to make some decisions for myself and trust that the opportunity that was brought to me was part of my path and part of God’s plan.

Here I am, now one year from putting .inc “on pause” is what I call it. Ready to see the new form it takes, and hoping you will follow along and be a part of my journey🤍

I sent these fun Spring Break Bingo printouts I found for FREE on TPT] ! If you haven’t checked out TPT] before, you are totally missing out! You can find so much content for FREE and/or low cost! This is one of my favorite resources as an educator, and parents who are homeschooling can use it too!

Excited to announce that we will be at our very FIRST vendor event🥳🥳🥳

We are so excited to have a friend share this event with us because they thought it would be a great space for ElevateU•Bakersfield Hybrid Homeschool Program] to be shared with the community!!

I am SO excited to finally be posting about .inc Summer Enrichment Program!!!

Registration is officially OPEN 🥳

We are so excited to see some familiar faces & also have new faces join in on the fun!!

This summer I am excited to share that I will be letting the STUDENTS lead the way and determine the themes we focus on over the 6 weeks!! During week one I will have different get to know you activities and we will brainstorm together different topics we can dive into over the six weeks. Students will then vote and decide which topics they would like to cover!

Our program will run June 13-July 28! Six total weeks & we will be closed July 3-7.

I decided to do 3️⃣ cohorts this time so that I can serve more children! Each cohort has 10 spots for children ages 5-11.

The Cohort options are first come first serve basis!

T/W 9:30am-12:30pm
T/W 2pm-5pm
TH/F 9:30am-12:30pm

Hello .inc community!!

I am so excited to share what I’ve been up to behind the scenes!

Over the last couple of months I have been working with families locally to help them on their alternative education journey.

Here are just some of the cool things I’ve been able to help parents & educators within my 1:1 coaching sessions:

⭐️Gain an understanding of educational rights both with traditional and alternative education in California

⭐️Find curriculum, materials, and resources that meet their child’s needs

⭐️Learn how to lesson plan in the way that fits your personal planning style

⭐️Create structures & routines to help minimize behaviors, stress, & anxiety but at the same time be ok with being flexible because of you know, life!

⭐️ Discover behavior management techniques and styles that work for your family

⭐️Cheer on & support parents where they are at on their alternative education journey so they don’t feel alone and build confidence in themselves as a parent

⭐️ Design & Organize your home learning space to help make it less overwhelming and more accessible for your children

I have loved coming along side parents and educators to support them where they are at on their alternative education journey & I would love to help you too!!

I am now taking on new clients both in person & virtually which allows me to help outside of the Bakersfield area!
