The Shadyside Local School District want to thank the Tiger Four Man Group for their generous donation of $7,500 dollars to the Shadyside Local school district backpack program. The program sends food home biweekly to help supplement families in need. Great job!

Athletic Pass Information for the 2026/2027 School Year

At last nights Shadyside Local Schools Board of Education Meeting, The Board unanimously voted to allow all students of Shadyside Pre-K-12 to be admitted for free at all home Tiger athletic events for the 26/27 school year.

The Board also voted unanimously to not charge any student’s family any school fees for the 26/27 school year.

Shadyside Local School District does NOT qualify for District Wide Free Breakfast and Lunch program offered through the state. The free and reduced lunch program is still offered by completing the application sent home with students on the first day of school.

At the July Board of Education meeting, Jaylynne Johnson and Kaci Tsoras were both recognized for their outstanding achievements during the 2026 Track & Field Season. Here are a few of their accomplishments throughout the season.

Kaci Tsoras
- State Qualifier in the Pole Vault and placed 8th earning All-Ohio Honors
- Academic All-Ohio and East District Academic Awards
- School Record holder in the Pole Vault
- East District All Star Team for Pole Vault
- 2nd Team All Valley
- OVAC 1A/2A Pole Vault Champion

Jaylynne Johnson
- State Qualifier in the 100 Hurdles and placed 4th as a Freshman to earn All-Ohio Honors
- East District All Star Team for 100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, & Long Jump
- East District Division 5 Co-Athlete of the Year
- School Record Holder in the 100 Meter Hurdles
- Regional Qualifier in 3 Events
- OVAC 1A/2A 100 Meter Hurdles Champion
- 1st Team All Valley
