Most people only see race day. They don’t see the early morning runs, summer miles, hill workouts, or the dedication it takes to earn All-State. Every name on this list represents that commitment and has helped shape the tradition of Seymour High School Cross Country.

As we continue looking back at Seymour’s All-State athletes, today we recognize the boys soccer players who earned one of Connecticut’s highest individual honors.

Every All-State honor represents countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, and commitment to the game. Our All-State Girls Soccer honorees wore Seymour with pride and left a lasting impact on our program. We are grateful for everything they gave to Wildcat soccer and proud to celebrate their accomplishments. 🐾

Congratulations to Seymour High School alumna Rebecca Bennett (‘95) on her induction into the Seymour High School Alumni Association Hall of Fame.

As Head Nurse for Seymour Public Schools, Becky has dedicated her career to supporting the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff throughout the district. Her leadership was especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she worked tirelessly to help guide Seymour schools through unprecedented challenges while ensuring students continued to receive the care and support they needed.

Beyond her work in our schools, Becky has made a lasting impact on the Seymour community through her service with the Seymour Lions Club, support of local families, and leadership in the effort to rebuild Bungay School. Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to Seymour have touched countless lives and make her a truly deserving member of the Seymour High School Alumni Hall of Fame.

Success in the pool is earned one practice, one race, and one season at a time. Our All-State Girls Swimming honorees represent the dedication, discipline, and perseverance that define Seymour Athletics. We are proud to celebrate the Wildcats who reached one of Connecticut’s highest athletic honors.
