Some students take advantage of opportunities. Others create them.
Ariana Alvarez did both during her time at Seymour High School, earning the Business Department Award after becoming one of the most driven and impactful students the department has seen.
Ariana challenged herself by taking nearly every business course offered at SHS while also serving as President of FBLA during her senior year after being a dedicated member all four years. Her leadership played a major role in Seymour earning Gold Chapter status for the first time in school history.
She also became the driving force behind bringing the QuickBooks course to SHS, pushing through obstacles, organizing support, and proving that student voice can create real change.
From the classroom to leadership opportunities, Ariana truly earned “girl boss” status at Seymour High School. 💼
