Congratulations to all the Appanoose County Fair kids, but special congrats to those who represented our chapter! 🎉Addi Wahl and Jayla Campbell showed through FFA this past week and did a great job representing the Seymour FFA! Jayla Campbell and Taycee Burns also did an outstanding job representing our Chapter by competing for fair royalty🎉

Taycee was 2nd runner up and Jayla was Miss Congeniality 💕

Reminder fair chores are a crucial part of your fair week. It is your responsibility to sign up and show up at the designated times. Failure to do so can result in consequences from the fair. If an emergency happens and you cannot attend your designated time, you need to contact the fair office and make them aware of the situation.

Make sure to have your entries done by June 29th (official deadline July 1, but this gives Campbell time to double check them).

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE PROPERLY IDENTIFIED BY MAY 15TH TO BE ELIGIBLE TO EXHIBIT AT THE 2026 APPANOOSE COUNTY FAIR. 4-H animals must be identified in 4-H Online (https://v2.4honline.com/ #/user/sign-in) and FFA Animals must be identified in FairEntry by May 15th.

FFA members showing at Appanoose County- livestock entries will open up on Monday June 15th and entries along with payment are due by July 1st. I am attaching the link below- please reach out to Campbell or the extension office if you need help getting entries in!

Spent the morning at Chapter Officer Leadership Training in Knoxville! We learned how to better ourselves and our Chapter and came up with ideas to bring back with us. Also got to meet with other Chapter Officers in our district.
