From knowing nothing about electrical systems to confidently reading schematics, Howard Ledbetter’s progress shows the power that hands-on workforce training offers.

We are proud to recognize Howard as the 100th student trained at the Jackson County Learning Center!

“When I started the class, I knew nothing about electrical. Now, I understand the difference between AC and DC, can use meters correctly and can read schematics in detail. Brian took the time to work with me on every part of the training and made sure I understood it. I truly enjoyed the class, and what I learned has already helped me at work and at home.”

Howard’s experience shows how instructor-led training can build confidence, strengthen careers and provide practical skills that last.
Congratulations to Howard, his instructor Brian and everyone who helped the Jackson County Learning Center reach this exciting milestone!

Did you know that earning your Indiana High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma can open the door to new opportunities?

In recognition of National Back to School Month, now is a great time to take the next step toward earning your HSE.

Workers with a high school diploma earn, on average, more than $8,000 more per year than those without one. Whether your goal is a better job or continuing your education, earning your HSE is a great place to start.
