💜🦁 Founders Day 2026 is officially in the books, and what a response from the TKA family.

We set a goal of 150 donors, and our community answered the call.

Together, TKA families, alumni, grandparents, friends, and members of our Board of Trustees gave an incredible $85,383.89 to support the mission and students of The King’s Academy.

Here’s a look at the impact:

💜 $55,003.89 given by families, alumni, grandparents, friends, and members of the TKA community
💜 $30,380 given by our Board of Trustees through generous gifts and matching challenges
🏫 $66,712 designated to the Area of Greatest Need
📚 $12,262+ designated for Academics
🛠️ $2,987.39 designated for Campus improvements
🎭 $2,210 designated for the Arts
🏆 $1,412.50 designated for Athletics

The Class of 2036 led our class challenge with an incredible $8,825 raised, while the Class of 2029 led the way in participation with 20 online gifts.

But among all those numbers, one of our favorites is:

$2.39.

One of our second-grade students heard her parents talking about Founders Day and asked if she could give money to help her school.

She emptied her piggy bank and proudly gave $2.39.

Her mom later explained it simply:

“She loves her school.”

That little gift captures so much of what made Founders Day special.

Some gave from piggy banks. Some gave $25, $50, or $100. Others were able to make significant investments in our school. Every gift was different, but each represented something bigger: a belief in this school, its mission, and the students God has entrusted to our care.

Thank you, TKA family.

Thank you for giving. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for encouraging others to participate. Most of all, thank you for investing in the students of The King’s Academy and helping strengthen Academics, Arts, Athletics, our Campus, and the work happening here every day.

💜 One of our favorite TKA traditions is back!

This week, we held our annual Big Buddy/Little Buddy Meet-Up, pairing each member of the Class of 2027 with a Kindergarten student.

There’s something special about bringing together students at opposite ends of their TKA journey. Our seniors get the opportunity to encourage, lead, and invest in some of our youngest Lions, while our Kindergarten students gain a big buddy to look up to and cheer them on.

And this is only the beginning.

Throughout the school year, our buddies will spend time together, build relationships, celebrate special moments, and create memories that we hope they’ll carry long after this year is over.

For our Kindergarten students, it’s the beginning of their TKA story. For our seniors, it’s the beginning of their final chapter here.

Different ages. Different stages. One TKA family. 🦁

🇪🇸 Learning our way through Spanish!

Our Spanish students have been working hard, but that doesn’t mean learning can’t be fun!

With a quiz on the horizon, students have been using games, friendly competition, and interactive activities to practice what they’ve learned and get quiz ready.

These activities give students the chance to practice together, build confidence, learn from one another, and strengthen their Spanish skills without simply staring at a study guide.

A little competition. A lot of learning. And plenty of fun along the way.

💜 THANK YOU, TKA!

What happened during our Founders Day of Giving was about more than reaching a goal. It was a remarkable picture of a community coming together around a mission we believe in.

Parents. Grandparents. Alumni. Faculty and staff. Trustees. Friends. And even some of our youngest Lions.

Each gift told the same story: we believe in The King’s Academy, we believe in our students, and we believe in the work God is doing here.

Because of your generosity, the TKA Impact Fund will help strengthen academics, arts, athletics, and our campus, creating opportunities that directly impact the experience of our students.

Today, Dr. Eaves has a special message of gratitude for everyone who gave, shared, encouraged others to participate, and helped make this Founders Day so meaningful.

💡 Before you build a business, you have to know what you stand for.

Our Entrepreneurship students took some time to identify and choose their personal core values, the principles that will help guide the way they make decisions, lead others, and approach their future.

Entrepreneurship is about much more than developing a great idea or building a successful business. It’s also about understanding who you are, what matters to you, and the kind of leader you want to become.

These students are learning that values aren’t just words on a page. They shape how we respond when decisions are difficult, how we treat people, and ultimately, the kind of impact we make.

Building businesses is important. Building character matters even more. 🦁💜

What an incredible Founders Day of Giving.

We set a goal of bringing together 150 donors in support of The King’s Academy, and because of this community, we surpassed our goal!

To every parent, grandparent, alumnus, faculty member, staff member, trustee, friend, and supporter who gave, shared a post, encouraged someone else to participate, or prayed for our school: thank you.

Every gift represents someone choosing to invest in our students and in the mission of The King’s Academy. Together, you are helping strengthen academics, arts, athletics, and the places and spaces where our students learn and grow.

We are still compiling the final numbers, and we think you’re going to be excited to see what this community accomplished together.

What an incredible day.

Because of the generosity, enthusiasm, and participation of the TKA community, we have officially reached our Founders Day goal of:

150 DONORS

From the first gift this morning to the final donor tonight, every single person mattered.

Along the way, our community also unlocked:

$8,380 in Trustee Challenge Gifts

and an additional:

$22,000 Founders Leadership Gift

But the number we are most excited about tonight is still 150.

150 families, alumni, grandparents, employees, friends, and supporters chose to step forward and invest in the mission of The King’s Academy.

The competition is heating up, and we have some serious movement on the leaderboard.

Remember, this challenge is based entirely on number of supporters, not dollars raised. One donor equals one supporter for your class, regardless of the size of the gift.
