Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Peggy Stark, who will be serving as Zion's Principal this school year!
Mrs. Stark lives in Seymour with her husband, Steve, and their two golden retrievers, Copper and Cooper. Together they have four grown children and 14 grandchildren.
She brings more than 30 years of classroom experience in the public school system, along with three years of teaching in our local Lutheran schools. Throughout her career, she has taught first through third grades. Since retiring from Seymour Community Schools in 2013, she has enjoyed substitute teaching, tutoring Japanese students, gardening, and traveling while camping.
A lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, Mrs. Stark has faithfully served on several church boards. Last year, she was blessed to teach first grade at Zion, where she shared not only a love of learning but also the love of Jesus with her students. Teaching has always been her passion, and she considers it a true gift to share Christ's love in the classroom.
