I began my daycare business in May 2022 with a heartfelt desire to provide quality care for little ones while maintaining a job that fit the needs of my own family. For those who know me well, you’ll know I’ve always prioritized work that revolves around my family, my children’s schedules and well-being. I deeply believe in creating a life centered on family.
This chapter of running the daycare has been an incredible blessing in so many ways. It allowed me to stay home and support my children with online school while also caring for and loving some of the most amazing little ones. Over nearly three years, I’ve been fortunate to create countless sweet memories with both past and present families. I’m immensely grateful to every family who entrusted me with their precious children—it’s an honor I’ll cherish forever.
However, as with all seasons, change is inevitable. My family is now preparing to step into a new chapter. Recently, my husband accepted a job offer that comes with many wonderful opportunities for our family, but it also requires us to make adjustments. One thing we are unwilling to sacrifice is the time we have together as a family. Unfortunately, this means the daycare no longer aligns with the needs of my family at this stage.
While closing my daycare is bittersweet, I’m filled with excitement for what this next season will bring—more time with my own children as they grow older. My heart has been yearning to savor the time we have left in their childhood and to ensure we remain close as they transition into adulthood.
There may be a future where I return to the daycare world, perhaps as a grandmother, when the time feels right. But for now, I’m saying goodbye to this beautiful chapter and welcoming a new one, filled with opportunities to grow and cherish moments with my family. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey—it has truly been a gift.
