Searching for a Beginners Programming course? We are now offering Programming Level 1, an easy introduction to programming using puzzles. Students solve coding puzzles and get familiar with basic programming concepts such as sequencing, conditions and repetition using loops.

In our 6 week course, we will cover the following topics:
Sequencing, Repetition, Events, Conditional logic, Animation, Storytelling, Problem solving, debugging, Pen drawing among others.
Location: The Vault Academics, 115 Main St, Seymour CT (exit 22, RT 8)
Days: Mondays or Thursdays (or both)
Times: 9:30am- 10:30 am OR 11am-12:00pm

Dates: October 3rd - November 10th (6 week course)

We are pleased to announce that full and partial scholarships are available for our 10 week S.T.E.A.M Summer Camp program for ages 5-13. Applications are due by June 14th, and awards will be announced June 15th by 9pm.

There are a limited amount of Full Scholarships Available as well as partial scholarships offering 50% off regular tuition. Priority will be given to families enrolling in 6 or more weeks.

The Head Teacher is responsible for the care, supervision, day to day operations, and safety of center/classroom children. Responsible for ensuring staff files are up to date with physicals, CPR/First Aid, and continuing education. Responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, encouraging self esteem and independence for the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of each child while ensuring that health, safety and nutritional education is integrated into the overall curriculum planning. Responsible for administering the overall operations and supervision of children and staff and keeping classroom and playground clean, safe, and orderly. Must have compassion and understanding for the needs of children and families from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds.
Responsible for all required administrative paperwork for the classrooms.

This position will be 35-40 hrs per week during our 10 week summer camp program.

The Vault Academics in downtown Seymour is seeking a certified Head Teacher for School age children (5-13yrs old) for our afterschool program. The ideal candidate must love S.T.E.A.M, as we are all about exploring sciences, art, engineering and beyond!

Pay: $15-18/ hr
