Vocal Studio of Kathryn Floyd-Camacho Voice training/therapy for all ages, specializing in opera, musical theatre, sacred music and traditional music.

I started my music journey at New England Conservatory of Music taking voice lessons with Afrika Hayes. I then studied piano and music theory at Berklee College of Music. After that, I received my bachelors and masters in vocal performance at The Boston Conservatory of Music with Grace Hunter, and Iride Pilla. As part of my graduate program in voice, I studied voice therapy with David Blair McClos

ky and conducting with Attilio Polo. My education to be a music teacher is from the best schools in the country. This education is combined with my love for helping my students achieve their goals. Many of my students have gone on to Broadway, Opera, prestigious universities, or to become college professors themselves. I have used this vast education to sing on National Public Radio, and record two CD's. One CD premiered in Ireland on several radio stations. I have experience teaching voice at Point Park University, Robert Morris University with a Concert Choir, and conducted "Into The Woods" at Duquesne University. I have taught all levels K-12 in Boston and Pittsburgh. I have seen beginners to professionals and have been able to help them all. This is truly my passion and has been life for the past 35 years. I look forward to meeting new students and helping them achieve their goals!!
