St. John Summer Horizons Program The program is designed for children that have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade.

This past Sunday, we installed our new CDC Director and rededicated our whole Ministry Staff for another year of service serving The Ministry of St. John. We give thanks to God for their strengths, knowledge, readiness, and willingness to serve.

As we wrap up another year of Summer Horizons, we want to say thank you.

Thank you to the families who trust us with your children. Thank you to our teachers who spend months planning and then pour their energy, creativity, and patience into every class. Thank you to our student assistants who are always willing to help, solve problems, and keep things moving throughout the week.

There are so many people who work behind the scenes to make Summer Horizons happen, and we are grateful for every one of you.

This week is always exhausting, but it is also one of our favorite weeks of the year. Seeing students learn new things, make friends, discover interests, and have fun makes all of the planning worthwhile.

We feel incredibly lucky to be part of something so special. Thank you for another wonderful year of Summer Horizons. We’re already jotting down ideas for next summer!

It’s hard to find the words to adequately express how grateful I am for these student assistants. From the moment students walk through the doors each morning, they are there to guide them to class, assist with projects, serve snacks, support positive behavior, and ensure every student is safely dismissed at the end of the day.

To the parents of these young adults - thank you for raising amazing people! We could not run this week without them.
