Friday Assembly Shoutout!

A big congratulations to the 3rd and 4th graders who were recognized during our Friday morning assembly!

These incredible students showed outstanding hard work, focus, and determination right out of the gate during our very first week of school. We are so proud of the way they’ve set the tone for an amazing year ahead

Twenty-two students were recognized as Summer Super Readers during our August 14th Friday morning assembly. These students completed at least one of the Summer Reading Challenges. Each participant received a book of their choice from a curated selection in the library and a backpack tag for the type of challenge they completed. Students who completed all 10 challenges were also entered into a drawing for a $10 gift certificate to the Sewanee Bookstore or a $5 gift certificate to the fall book fair to be held in October.

Huge congratulations to all of our amazing students recognized during our assembly! We are so proud of everyone who earned new backpack tags for their hard work, curiosity, and love of learning through reading.

SES is thankful for our University partnership with the Sewanee Bookstore and for all the families choosing to make reading a fun part of their child's summer!

We were thrilled to welcome both our new and returning students and their families to campus on Friday, August 7. We kicked off the morning with an Open House and our very first Friday Assembly of the year, then wrapped up the afternoon with our Back to School Splash!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
